Milwaukee 2432 22 M12 12V Propex Expansion Tool Kit

Hey guys and welcome… I’m Jack and a plumber here in Australia.

Today I am going to give you a quick overview of the Milwaukee 2432 22 M12 12V Propex Expansion Tool Kit.

Choosing the wrong expander can be costly, wasting your money and precious time on the job. In this article, I will be going over the features, prices, pros and cons and everything I can think of regarding this Milwaukee PEX expander.

Before we get right into this review and see how the Milwaukee 2432 12v expansion tool stacks up against the competition I’m about to explain that.

But first I want to give you a bit of a background on me so you know that I know what I’m on about.

So like I said my name is Jack and I’ve been a licensed plumber now for just short of 30 years and over that time I’ve tied out my fair share of different tools and brands.

I also want to add that my main line of cordless handtools these days are Dewalt. I’ve been using them for quite a while and I am more than happy with them.

The Milwaukee 2432 22 M12 12V is ideally made for working in tight spaces and roof space areas. The 90-degree right angle design makes it so easy to install piping in the tight areas.

Even tho its compact it still weighs in at over 10 pounds, but that is because it’s built with real metal running gears and an integrated metal body frame.

Making it almost industrial proof and job site durability. Compact but not light as compared to others, but it’s still manageable to use one-handed and the longer trigger system helps the cause.

The tool is designed with an auto-rotating head for fast installation and to give you a better more evenness expansion making the join better fit.

On a single charge, the 12v expander will around 130 1/2″ connections per charge. This number will go down as when an increase in pipe size.

I also like how the tool has an LED light on the butt of the tool giving you light when working in those tightly enclosed areas like roof spaces.

You can also check the life of the battery with its battery fuel gauge with just a press of a button.

The tool has a hanging bracket but is only mounted on the one side so not universal, and there is no belt clip. I guess you could use the hanging bracket at a pinch.

What you get

When you order your kit today, the kit consists of two batteries, charger, 3 expansion heads 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ heads, the tool all in a heavy-duty sturdy Milwaukee plastic case to keep it all together and in the one place.
